Fully Involved House Fire in East Drumore
Robert Fulton Fire Company - Peach Bottom, PA
At 1:25AM Station 5-7 (Quarryville) 5-8 (Rawlinsville) and 5-12 (Willow Street) were dispatched for the working house fire in the area of Ann Place and Buck Rd in East Drumore Township, Deputy 5-7 (Welk) responded and was advised of multiple calls being received of a working house fire and it was unknown if anyone was still inside, As deputy 5-7 was en-route he advised he was a half mile out with heavy fire showing and requested 2 additional tankers to the scene. This Alerted Tanker 5-13 along with 5-1 (Bart),  Engine 5-13-1 with full crew and Tanker 5-13 responded shortly after the alert...

AT 10:40 THE MAGEE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS DISPATCHED FOR A ONE CAR MVA WITH INJURIES ON THE NYS THRUWAY AT MM 316 EASTBOUND.  961,962, & 963 WERE ALL ENROUTE AT 10:41.   961 CALLED ON SCENE AT 10:49 WITH 3 MINOR INJURIES. ALL MAGEE UNITS WERE CLEAR AT 11:09.

Motor Vehicle Accident with Confinement
Hampden Township Volunteer Fire Company - Mechanicsburg, PA
Engine 1-30, Engine 3-30,Rescue 28. and Engine 2-37 were dispatched to the Carlisle Pike at Auto Zone for a Accident with Confinement. Crews arrived on scene to find 2 vehicles at the intersection. After stabilizing the vehicle the doors were popped open and the patient was removed.

Engine/Tanker and Air/Light assist Keyser with structure fire
New Creek Volunteer Fire Department - New Creek, WV
At 01:13 hrs, Mineral County dispatch set off Box 33-1 for a possible structure fire, bringing Station 33 (Keyser), 23 (McCoole, MD) for an engine, 57(Keyser EMS) ambulance and 39 (Fountain) for RIT. Units arrived on scene to confirm fire in the building. Truck 24 (Tri Towns) and an Engine and Air from 38 were alerted at 01:18. Engine/Tanker 38 responded with 5, and Air/Light 38 with 3. Crews assisted with ventilation, salvage and overhaul, Air/Light 38 assisted with refilling SCBA bottles and scene lighting. Both units cleared the scene at 02:48.

Vehicle Fire: Engine 1
southbendfire.org - South Bend, IN
Engine 1 was dispatched @1133 to 330 E. Jefferson for a reported vehicle fire. Upon arrival, Engine 1 found a Honda Prelude with heavy smoke coming out of the interior. When the vehicle was approached by Engine 1 personnel , it kept lunging forward due to an electrical malfunction with the starter. The power cable was cut and the fire was extinguished. The fire appeared to be electrical in nature. No injuries were reported.

Engine & Tanker first arriving on 2nd due House Fire: Manakintown Ferry Road
Huguenot Volunteer Fire Department Inc. - Powhatan, VA
Around 11AM on Friday, Companies 4 (Fine Creek), 2 (Huguenot), and Powhatan Rescue were notified for the house fire in the 2400 block of Manakintown Ferry Road.  Engine 2 (with 3) and Tanker 2 (with 1) were advised that smoke was issuing from the house and three cats were trapped inside. On Engine 2's arrival, personnel found a 2-story 1800 square foot house with heavy smoke issuing from the front door, and Chief 2 (Goodman) assumed the command.  Crews were met by an off-duty firefighter who advised that a sofa inside the front door was well-off.  The sofa was removed from the ...

UPPER GWYNEDD TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA STATION 80 - West Point, PA
At about 1750 tonight, the QRS was hit out for a fall victim.  EDS advised that the subject fell 15-20 from a treestand in the woods.  Upon arrival of the QRS and other EMS units, it was determined that the subject would need a trip downtown to a trauma center.  SD80 & E80-1 responded for the helo standby and also provided assistance with moving the patient to the bird.  U-345 went into the woods with an EMS crew to retrieve the subject, and was then taken to the awaiting ambulance.  The flight crew checked him out, and then crews moved the patient to the awaiting ...

Ripley VFD assists Cabell County Ambulance
Ripley Fire Rescue - Ripley, Wv - Ripley, WV
Ripley VFD was dispatched to respond for a Cabell Co Ambulance that was stuck was trying to deliver a patient to Roane General Hospital. When crews arrived on scene, they found a ambulance stuck in mud, with a patient onboard. Crews from Cottageville VFD responded with there ATV and assisted in removing the patient to be turned over to Jackson Co EMS crews to finish the transport. No injuries were reported, and the ambulance was safely removed.

Elizabeth Boro Volunteer Fire Company - Elizabeth, PA
Station 139 was dispatched for mutual aid in to Forward Township for a one vehicle accident with entrapment. 139 Rescue answered the alarm with 1 BVR and 2 VRT and QRS 139 responded with 1 EMT. Rescue 139 was first on scene and chief 139 took command. Crews stabilized the vehicle and found the driver was not entrapped. 139 crews handled patient care until medic crews from Jefferson Hills EMS arrived. 139 Crews along with Crews from Rescue 154 and Engine 156 handled clean up and after the vehicle was removed the road was reopen and all units cleared. Chief 80 and Truck 31 responded early this morning to assist Mutual Aid Departments on a chimney fire.  Chief 80 arrived to fire showing from the chimney.  Truck 31 arrived and set up for chimney work.  Crews extinguished the fire and returned to service.

18-Wheeler on Fire
Bryant Fire Department - Bryant, AR
Truck 31, Engine 12 and Chief 80 responded to the interstate for a possible truck on fire.  Chief 80 advised while enroute that smoke was showing.  On arrival, Chief 80 advised the brakes were on fire, but the driver thought he had extinguished them.  Crews checked the brake area and returned to service.

County police officer injured in crash with drunk driver

SOUTH BEND — A St. Joseph County police officer was injured Tuesday night when his patrol car was struck from behind by an alleged drunk driver.   It happened around 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of Mishawaka Avenue and 30th St. in South Bend. Cpl. Dennis Bake, 33, was stopped at a red light in the westbound lane of Mishawaka Avenue behind two other cars. On 10-08-08 a female patient's vehicle collided with a tree on Nobby Lail Rd. George Hildebran Fire/Rescue First Responders were dispatched for an MVA with one patient bleeding from the arm. NC State Highway Patrol requested EMS to respond routine traffic due to minor injuries. Dep. Chief 7305 arrived, assumed command and upgraded all units due to the Mechanism Of Injury. Trash Fire
Hampden Township Volunteer Fire Company - Mechanicsburg, PA
Engine 3-30 and Engine 4-30 were dispatched for a trash fire in the rear of the building. After arriving on the scene Duty Chief 30 and Chief 3-30 discover the fire had made extension to the building. Employees from a business beside the building used 3 extinguishers to knock the fire down. Engine 3-30 arrived on the scene and deployed a 1"3/4 hand line to extinguish the remainder of the fire and investigated for hot spots.

Residential Structure Fire At 10:00 the Charleroi Area Fire District was sent to Spring St. in the warner plan of Fallowfield Twp. for the report of a house filling with smoke and a furnace on fire. Upon the arrival of Engine 47 the report was given by the chief that nothing was apparent from the exterior.
